This is a quality finish that features good coverage when sprayed or rolled. It is ideal for general maintenance and "cleanup" of wallboard surfaces. It will provide a two coat system on New drywall. SURFACE PREP: The surface to be painted must be clean & free of dirt, wax, oil, grease, paste, and water soluble residue. If washing the surface is necessary, use a water based, low sudsing detergent and rinse well with clean water. Remove any mildew using one quart of household bleach in 3 quarts of water. Rinse thoroughly. Wear goggles and gloves to prevent contact with the bleach. Loose and scaling paint should be removed by scraping or sanding. Repair holds, crevices and cracks with spackling compound, and sand smooth. Dull glossy areas with sandpaper or surface prep agent. If using a liquid deglosser or primer, follow the directions closely and test a small area for compatibility with the finish coat. Stains from water, smoke, ink and crayon will bleed through most paint. Cover these areas with a stain blocking primer. Satisfactory results can be obtained on most wallboard surfaces with two coats of this product. Some types of wallboard and joint compound, however, require a good latex primer sealer for best appearance. APPLICATION: Do not paint at temperatures below 50° F. Stir the paint thoroughly. Apply generously with a good quality nylon or polyester brush or medium nap roller. First paint a 2 to 3 inch strip at the ceiling and baseboard, around windows and doors, and in corners with a sash brush. Overlap these brushed areas as much as possible maintaining a wet edge as you continue painting with the roller. Do not spread paint too far. One roller-full should cover an area approximately 3' x 3'. Use a 3/8" to 1/2" nap roller for large areas. For airless spray application, use a .013 to .015 reversible tip at 700 to 1,200 PSI. This paint may be thinned with up to 1/2 pint water per gallon for the first coat. Do not thin the finish coat or when doing one coat work. Do not subject the finish to washing for at least 30 days. Textured surfaces or extreme color changes may require an additional coat. DO NOT THIN.
