Old Masters Graining Base

This high quality, oil-based paint can be used alone or under Old Masters Wiping Stain to achieve a wide variety of distinctive decorating effects. When used as a basecoat for woodgraining, this product simulates both the texture and color of bare or unfinished wood. This product will not rise wood grain and provides excellent durability and chip resistance on high use interior surfaces. Graining Base is nontoxic and child safe when dry.Do not thin. Use as packaged. Covers approximately 400 square feet per gallon, 100 square feet per quart. Cleanup: Using a cleaning solvent, such as paint thinner or mineral spirits, is recommended for cleanup. Where to Use: Graining Base can be used on any paintable, interior surface and can provide a base coat for Woodgraining. Woodgraining can be achieved on new wood, previously finished surfaces, cabinets, furniture and metal doors, without stripping previous finishes. Surface Prep: All Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dirty, wax, grease, glue and other contaminates or adhesion will be effected.
