UGL 222 Lite Spackling Paste

A fast-drying, light-weight, interior and exterior compound for patching large holes and cracks in plaster, drywall, wood, Masonite and masonry. Smooths on easily, will not shrink, crack or crumble, and requires little or no sanding. May be painted.

The product is ideal for patching plaster, drywall, wood, Masonite, masonry and other construction surfaces.

Remove all loose dirt, paint, wax, grease and dust. Nail heads and other metal surfaces should be primed with a metal primer. UGL 222 LITE and surface temperature of area to be patched must be above 50°F.
All exterior applications must be painted.

If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH- approved respirator to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. Stir and apply with a putty knife.Push UGL 222 LITE firmly into hole or crack, smoothing the material with long strokes of the putty knife. For extra-smooth finish,lightly smooth patched area with a wet putty knife.
UGL 222 LITE can be painted almost immediately with latex paint. Before applying an oil-based paint, allow material to dry thoroughly. For best results, prime patched areas. Allow these areas to dry thoroughly before sanding.

Prolonged contact with skin during mixing or application may cause irritation some cases. If splashed on skin or in eyes, flush thoroughly with water.
